Double hung windows easily slide open vertically and secure with latching hardware.

And with UV protection, you don’t have to let the sunshine you love damage your investment.

GLAZING OPTIONS

Insulated Glass Construction:

Impact Resistant Laminated Glass- Polyvinyl butyral (PVB) or DuPont Sentry Glas® Plus (SGP) Interlayer bonded between two panes of glass.
Structural Stainless Steel Spacer- Corrugated shape adds strength. Bent corners create a continuous impermeable barrier around the entire perimeter.
Desiccant- Assures optimum moisture absorption while minimizing the effects of temperature-related pressure changes.

Single Glazed Construction

For those areas that codes allow single glazed windows and doors, Weather Shield has the products to fit. Single glazed products are fortified with Polyvinyl Butyral (PVB) or DuPont™ SentryGlas® Plus (SGP) Interlayer bonded between two panes of glass. For added solar control our single glazed windows are available with LoE³ 366 or LoE³ 340 performance glass coatings.

WOOD REMOVABLE GRILLE

Wood Removable Grilles feature a frame design that offers strength superior to stick grilles offered by other window manufacturers. The frame snaps securely into the interior sash using a concealed pin system. Wood Removable Grilles make window cleaning easier, yet provide an added interior dimension. Custom grille designs are available.

GRILLES BETWEEN THE GLASS

Grille Between the Glass (GBG) consist of aluminum muntin bars in between two panes of insulating glass, giving you the look of divided lites while making window cleaning easier.

SIMULATED DIVIDED LITE

Simulated Divided Lites (SDL) offer the authentic look of True Divided Lites without sacrificing energy efficiency. Interior and exterior bars are permanently adhered the glass and a narrow spacer bar is positioned within the insulating glass airspace. Unlike True Divided Lites, SDL utilizes a single pane of insulating glass, decreasing the potential for energy loss. Exterior bars will be finished to match the exterior finish specified. Shown with optional Grille Between the Glass (GBG).
